Meet your guide and cross the Kigezi highlands of terraced hills and crater lakes. Settle in at a lodge on the forest edge for the evening ranger briefing.
- Gorilla trek
Assigned to a habituated group with a ranger and trackers. Porters carry packs and help on the steep sections; one hour at close range, then the walk out and your certificate.
- Depart
A slower morning — a Batwa community or forest-edge walk — then the drive back to Kampala / Kigali or the midday flight from Kisoro.
