What we collect and why
Enquiry and contact forms. When you submit the form on our Contact or Plan a Trek pages we receive the name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and message you enter. We use this only to answer your enquiry and to plan and quote a trip. The message is emailed to our team inbox and may be stored in our email and trip-planning records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep a record of the booking.
Server logs. Our web host records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for a short period by the host and are not used to identify you.
Cookies. This site uses a small number of cookies: essential cookies that make the site work, a cookie that remembers your cookie-consent choice, and cookies set by our caching layer to serve pages quickly. We do not run advertising trackers. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the banner, and you can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the site and respond to you — our web host, our email provider, and (once you become a client) the lodges, park authorities and transport partners required to arrange your trip. We may disclose information if required by law.
International transfers
Our servers and email are operated by providers who may process data outside Uganda. Where that happens we rely on the provider’s standard contractual protections.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time. Email info@adventuregorillauganda.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If this policy changes we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
